Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Handoff Hero. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

The service

Handoff Hero generates blog post drafts from a topic you provide, grounded in a knowledge base you control. Free accounts get a limited number of generations per day; Pro accounts get more, for a monthly fee — see Pricing for current limits.

Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
• You must provide a valid email address and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You’re responsible for the content you add to your knowledge base — don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to use.

AI-generated content

• Generated drafts come from third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI). They can be factually wrong, biased, or need editing — review every draft before publishing it anywhere.
• You own the output you generate, and you’re solely responsible for how you use, edit, and publish it, including compliance with applicable law (defamation, copyright, advertising disclosure, etc.).
• We don’t guarantee generated content is original, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.

Subscriptions and billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (Account menu → Manage billing); you’ll keep Pro access through the end of the current billing period.
• We don’t provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate illegal, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Attempt to circumvent generation limits, reverse-engineer the service, or overload it (e.g. scripted bulk requests).
• Use another person’s account without permission.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use of the AI generation limits.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Handoff Hero is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we’ll update the date above. Continued use of Handoff Hero after a change means you accept the updated terms.
